A new page has been added to this blog! I have added a nail dictionary! 🙂 To see what it’s all about, go see 😉

China Glaze: light as air

28 Jan

This is a gorgeous lavender-ish polish.. it’s quite similar til Agent Lavender from the same brand. I’ll do a comparisin next week sometime.. at the time i have acrylics on. This was two coats, but I think I needed three… it’s a bit uneven on my middlefinger! This is also a part of the Up&Away collection.

The weekend will be empty, because i’m going to London 😀 I’ll do a whole lot of shopping because i’m going there for IMATS!

Chanel Blue Satin falls in love with Dorothy Who?

27 Jan

I was SO right about this one!!! This Combo is absolutely fantastic! I can’t describe it any better than a winter nightsky. I just love how the China Glaze doesn’t hide the Chanel, but enhances it’s beauty! Here is a macro shot of it!

For some reason it became a litte matte after i put on the glitter, so i had to use a topcoat, but i normally do that anyway, so it wasn’t much hassle!

Chanel Blue Satin

27 Jan

This was one of the best selling polishes from Chanel in 08 i believe. I Love this polish to death, but sadly i can’t wear it too much, because i don’t want to run out of it! I should maybe get a backup before it disappears from stores completely (i hope it’s still around).

This was two coats.

Chanel Sahara Beige

27 Jan

This is a gorgeous polish, but i have never quite taken to it. However, seeing as the manequin-hands are the thing at the moment, i thought i’d give it a second chance. It is a light beige with tiny tiny silver specks in it!

Seeing as it is a bit sheer, this is 4 coats i think!

China Glaze Sugar High with Essie Matte about you

26 Jan

I wanted to see how it would look matte. I really like it, but i think i was a bit to hasty, and the streaky-ness is beacuse i didn’t wait for the pink polish to dry completely! This picture was taken at the start of my day, and i will post a picture of how it looks after work!

I also have Orlys Matte Top, and it doesn’t stay on all day, and the polish gets shiny after a few hours!

China Glaze Sugar High

26 Jan

Sugar High is a warm peachy pink. It is a part of the spring 10 collection called Up&Away. I really like this polish, and i can imagine that it would look great with tanned skin! This was three coats. Although it is quite opaque, i wanted it perfect 😛

China Glaze: Dorothy Who?

24 Jan

Dorothy Who? is a glitter polish with a jelly base. It has deep blue and silver glitters, and I absolutely love it! I can just imagine how wonderful it will look over such polishes as Blue Satin from Chanel.

This is 4 coats taken in natural light. I like my polishes to be opaque, so that is why i used so many coats!

China Glaze: Re-Fresh Mint

23 Jan

This is 4 coats, but i do believe you just need two. I was a bit clumsy (as you can see). It’s a really gorgeous minty colour with a little bit more green than blue. It’s quite cool-toned, but has a little bit of yellow in it.. in this sense, the picture really doesn’t do it justice. I’ll try to get some pictures in sunlight from now on!

This polish is a part of the Up&Away collection.

Preppy Pink by China Glaze

22 Jan

I really love this polish, but somehow i imagined it would be more opaque and more vibrant. Maybe it will look better when my hands get tan or paler 😛

This was 4 coats i think, and it is topped of with Essie 3-way glaze
